Malaria
Malaria is a viral infection transmitted by mosquitos that hot children the hardest. In Uganda, Malaria is responsible for tens of thousands of deaths annually under the age of 5 and 40 percent of missed school days.
Child Mortality
Uganda’s infant mortality currently stands at 43 deaths per 1000 live births, therefore 1 in 23 children dies before reaching their first birthday, with 42% of the mortality occurring during the neonatal period.
Disabilities
Children with disabilities are often overlooked and fail to receive they care and education they deserve. Parents often have limited resources and education on how to care for these beautiful children.
